My JSP Experience

JavaServer Pages (JSP) technology provides a simplified, fast way to create dynamic web content. JSP technology enables rapid development of web-based applications that are server- and platform-independent. As of my own experience with JSP, I could say that it is a 3 in 1 service with regards to programming. 3 in 1 because it is a combination of database, java, and html programming. With the help of another software which is the eclipse, it makes the work much easier for it provides services especially when debugging the JSP codes. On the other hand, JSP provides an easier way to create a dynamic web page. Through the use of scriplets, it separates java programming from html programming. Inside the scriplet lies the java programming languages while outside the scriplet lies the languages for html programming. Also, with the use of the additional tags from the JSP language, it contains a larger variety of codes which could be used for creating a dynamic webpage. JSP's ability to access the database programming such as the microsoft access is also an additional package in the said technology. Still, this could be done with the help of scriplets. With this, the access to the database can only be done by putting the codes inside the scriplets. For me, JSP is indeed a very convenient way to create a dynamic webpage.
